Empowering Inclusion and Sustainability: Insights from the UxST Final Event and Liberdade para Ser

The UxST Final Event and Liberdade para Sera, held on April 27, 2024 in Hub Creativo do Beato, Lisboa, brought together a diverse group of participants. Attendees included individuals from various backgrounds, including central Lisbon, social neighborhoods, suburban areas around Lisbon, and even participants from other regions such as Santarém, Coimbra, and Algarve in Portugal, as well as Madrid, Spain. Among the participants were professionals with doctorates in fields such as anthropology and law. Some of them working consulting, physiotherapy, youth work, teaching, activism, and art. The event explored themes related to inclusion, financial literacy, sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.

Throughout the event, lively discussions took place on several key topics:
1. Project Overview: An engaging presentation highlighted the project’s activities, including research on the impact of COVID-19 on youth, stakeholder meetings, public presentations, and the achievement of project objectives. Participants gained insights into the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme and its recommendations.

2. Social Proposal Contest: Finalists of the social proposal contest shared their experiences and opinions. Lina Lopes, a legal consultant specializing in copyright, moderated an open conversation. Participants discussed their involvement, the contest’s impact, and the importance of social proposals.

3. Blockchain and Financial Education: A presentation on the TBTM blockchain platform sparked interest. Participants explored opportunities for presenting artistic proposals and learned about digital currencies and new ways to reward artists.

We believe the event raised awareness of Erasmus+ and its priorities among participants and all project results have been disseminated in Portugal. As we continue our journey, we express gratitude to all involved and look forward to future impactful initiatives.
