Local Meetings Tackle Covid-19’s Impact on Youth: Project Presentation and Engaging Debates

Local meetings were recently implemented in five partner countries — Spain, Lithuania, Italy, Ireland, and Portugal — as part of a project addressing the impact of Covid-19 on youth. These meetings aimed to present the project and facilitate engaging debates among stakeholders, youth workers, experts, and young people aged 18–30. The project coordinators provided informative presentations, introducing the project and emphasizing the significance of the Erasmus+ program.

The meetings also featured open debates on key topics, including intra and interpersonal relationships, life projects of youngsters, healthy living and environment, and active participation. Participants from each partner country shared their experiences, exchanged ideas, and identified strategies to address the challenges faced by young individuals in their respective regions. These localized meetings served as valuable platforms for knowledge sharing and collaboration, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the diverse impacts of Covid-19 on youth across different cultural contexts. By implementing these meetings in multiple partner countries, the project ensured a broad and inclusive approach to tackling the effects of the pandemic on young people, fostering a collective effort towards supporting their well-being and development in the post-pandemic era.
